• Scriptura Designer:
  The Scriptura Designer provides an intuitive, what-you-see-is-what-you-get design interface. Users design output templates and define conditional logic and production characteristics without the need to program. Many sophisticated features are provided for designing any type of dynamic business output, including multilingual, tables, charts, bar codes, form fields and other design features. Reusable objects are created once and used in many different templates. Store objects, templates and other resources in the repository. A preview mode is provided so users can prototype, review and modify templates immediately - avoiding lengthy waits for printed output. Output templates are designed once and can be reused in many applications for multi-channel delivery. This significantly reduces design time and increases efficiency.
• Scriptura Server:
  The Scriptura Server lets you output to one or more output formats and output channels (print, email, web, fax) in batch, online or interactive. This module manages user sessions, manages multiple template processors for preview and local printing, and provides management and reporting functions. The Scriptura Server includes:
  • Scriptura Forms: Easily process dynamic, intelligent forms. A wide array of form controls such as check boxes, input fields, rich text paragraphs and action buttons can be used to design and process any type of intelligent form. You can re-create the look and feel of existing paper-based forms without the need to program. A preview mode is provided so users can prototype, review, test and modify form templates immediately. Built-in data validation capabilities allow you to automatically verify information as the user completes the form - improving both data accuracy and transaction processing time.
  • Forms Flows: Form flows are a way of maintaining instance data between forms for the rendering of the final output. They are built and controlled in XML files allowing the server to pass data between forms and control where the form's buttons take the user.
  • Scriptura Post-Processor: The Scriptura Post-Processor is used to process output. This is useful in high-volume production printing to, for example, split up the output into separate streams for different enveloping machines of varying capacity or for bundling documents bound for the same customer or postal area. Other features include adding static or dynamic content to create cover letters and separator pages, the insertion of bar codes.
  • Business Document Flows: Using document flows you can graphically design the life cycle of a document beginning with data input, performing advanced post processing on the resultant pages and ending with the final output of a document to a file (such as PDF) or a printer. With Business Document Flow business users themselves can automate the steps a document goes through (like splitting pages or adding barcodes) with only minimal IT personnel involvement. Without programming, users have access to a myriad of steps and options such as: adding images and text, grouping pages, merging PDF files and saving output to servers.
• The Scriptura Administrator:
  The Scriptura Administrator is an application that is used to manage and configure the various parts of the Scriptura Product Family via a graphical user interface. One of its functionalities is Server configuration.
• The Scriptura Remote Connector:
  The Scriptura Remote Connector provides interfaces, similar to the ones included in the Scriptura Server, but to be deployed on other platforms or systems than the one running the Scriptura Server. This module allows to integrate application servers with the Scriptura Server remotely, via SOAP.
